Sewing: Intro to Alterations

Program Room 1Learn how to operate a sewing machine in the creation of a custom project, such as a book bag, apron, cushion cover and more! Machines and materials will be provided. Beginner level. Ages 16+.
During this in-person introductory program, participants will learn basic machine operation, and different techniques in the alterations of garments and textiles.
Each participant will be provided a sewing machine, and eye protection.
Participants will need to bring in their own materials for garments or other textiles they are looking to alter and hem. Other required materials will be provided.
